BRANDING & VISUAL IDENTITY

An Evolving Entertainment Enterprise

My work on the branding at CUTA has been focused on enhancing and expanding the branding guidelines for the association, its events, committees, and several key initiatives. Over time, I’ve developed a cohesive visual identity that spans across CUTA’s digital platforms, print materials, and large-scale events like the Annual Conference & Transit Show.

A significant part of my role has been creating and maintaining a comprehensive asset folder that includes branding templates, visual resources, photos, and video content. These assets are accessible to the entire association, ensuring consistent and impactful communication.

PUBLIC & MEMBERS WEBSITES

A Dynamic and User-Centered Digital Hub

Our public-facing website originally served as a basic hub for CUTA’s content, but over the years, I’ve led significant improvements, including:

  • Enhanced news sections to provide timely and relevant updates for the transit industry.
  • Complete redesign of the training pages, streamlining the layout and user experience to boost engagement and registrations.
  • Improved contact page functionality, making it easier for users to connect with CUTA.

In addition, I helped design and test the Members-Only website, which now serves as a community forum and data repository for CUTA members. This platform offers a space for discussion, resource sharing, and access to exclusive content.

Over time, I’ve also built a series of event micro-sites, all tailored to specific campaigns and conferences. These were developed using a combination of web builders, HTML, and CSS, ensuring flexibility and customization to meet CUTA’s evolving needs.

At CUTA, I’ve led the branding and visual identity efforts for major events like the Annual Conference & Transit Show. My role involved designing eye-catching graphics, ensuring that all visual elements—from banners and signage to digital screens and presentations—aligned with CUTA’s overall brand. I managed the entire Audio/Visual production, overseeing everything from video content creation to the seamless integration of branded materials across various event platforms. This consistent visual identity helped create a professional and engaging atmosphere at each event, reinforcing CUTA’s messaging and mission to its attendees.

MULTIMEDIA PRODUCTION

A Multitude of Mesmerizing Media

Over the two years I’ve been with CUTA, I’ve produced a wide range of multimedia content, which has played a key role in the success of our events, campaigns, and member engagement. My work includes creating eye-catching social media posts, engaging videos, professional photography, informative booklets, handouts, and event materials.

I’ve been responsible for the planning, design, and execution of these materials, ensuring they align with CUTA’s brand guidelines and resonate with our audience. By targeting our campaigns effectively, we’ve increased engagement across multiple platforms and reinforced CUTA’s position as a leader in the transit industry.

  • Booklets, Handouts, and Reports: Designed comprehensive materials, including issue papers, full reports, and informational handouts to support CUTA’s programs and provide key insights to members and stakeholders.

In addition to these projects, I’ve continually enhanced CUTA’s multimedia presence, helping to drive engagement and increase visibility across our platforms.

CAMPAIGN DEVELOPMENT & EXECUTION

A Curation of Creative Content

With the wide range of initiatives at CUTA, there has been a need to create engaging and impactful campaigns to promote these efforts. My work has involved the development and execution of campaigns such as:

  • Transit Operator and Worker Appreciation Day
  • 120 Years of Canadian Transit
  • The Transit Code
  • Event and Training Promotions

Our campaign strategies focus on engaging transit workers, members, and the public through a variety of media channels. These campaigns included a mix of digital content, social media posts, email marketing, and video promotions. Our social media posts highlighted key campaign messages, while dedicated digital and print materials helped reinforce our efforts to promote transit safety, worker recognition, and member engagement.

Through these campaigns, we increased engagement with our members and strengthened CUTA’s public presence, driving awareness for key initiatives and boosting participation in training and events.
